We offer fixed fees for many types of criminal defence cases. Outside-office charges depend on travel time, urgency, sociable or unsociable hours, and solicitor seniority.

Typical timescales
- When instructed and in receipt of funds, Bedfords Solicitors will act promptly on preparing your case.
- Applications lodged with the Home Office UK Visas and Immigration can take over 12 months to be decided.
- Appeal/court casework can take around 3 to 6 months until the case is brought to a Full Hearing.
- Detained casework bail hearings can take between 1 to 4 weeks to be listed.

- Forms, procedures and prices may change periodically and are only valid on the day advertised.
- Work will be conducted by the Principal or senior solicitors (minimum 10 years call), assisted by junior staff where appropriate.
- Fees are estimates and may vary depending on complexity and the fee earner handling the matter.
- Fees are per person applying unless otherwise stated.
- VAT (20%) will be confirmed upon instruction where properly chargeable.
- Disbursements (for example travel to hearings) are charged in addition to the prices above.
